My personal mantra is "Own Your Exit". That means that at each chapter of your life it is much more beneficial to get ahead of forced change and proactively navigate your pivots. This has been the story of my career. In my 20's I exited a dangerous career that was misaligned and did not help society, did some soul searching and launched a health-tech venture to do good in the world. At 40 I sold that company with lots of upside left in a highly successful exit as I knew I wanted to "Own My Exit" again.

I call Oakville, Ontario, home, (even though I will always be a kid from Scarborough, Ontario). I enjoy spending time with my wife (strongest person I know) as we chase after our four kids.

I reserve a little bit of time each month to coach, mentor, advise and invest in start-ups as well as field inquiries from entrepreneurs of how they too can "Own Their Exits". Outside of work I spend extra time engaged in several lifelong passions such as meditation, trying to make my corner of the world a more equal place (in 2021 I was humbled when I was awarded "The Inspire Award" by the Halton District School Board), martial arts, and working on improving my atrocious handwriting.

Repeat entrepreneur. Last venture (PolicyMedical) acquired by Susquehanna Growth Equity. Currently scaling RockitShip. Advisor, investor and speaker sharing my "Own Your Exit" story with entrepreneurs, executives, youth and students.

I have founded, scaled, and sold companies in multiple industries. My last software company grew to service over 3000 hospitals worldwide and was acquired in 2018 in a successful exit. In 2021 I Co-founded a software company called RockitShip with 2 amazing humans. The decision to launch RockitShip came after my exit. In that time I was able to move from a human-doing to a human-being again, and I knew I wanted to be back in the entrepreneurial game.
